YES! We're back and better than ever! Join Thien, Rina, and Josh, as they kick off Season 2 in a really big way with a very special guest, legendary cartoonist and co-creator of Love and Rockets, Mr. Jaime Hernandez.
Thien and Rina say their goodbyes (at least for a while) as they begin their hiatus from the Comix Claptrap. To celebrate our run, we talk comics shop and try to get LA gossip from talented cartoonist, John Pham, of "Sublife", "Kramers Ergot 7" and "Mome" fame. We also talk new comics by Joey Allison Sayers and latest Japanese manga with our always favorite New Comics Wednesday reporter, Josh Frankel.
We apologize for taking forever to get this podcast out, blame it on Thien (our one-person AV crew who admitted after all this time that he has no idea how to edit the podcast.)
Hello friends! Thien and Rina are back...again (Rina had a terrible cold last month)! This time they sit down with cartoonists Hellen Jo (Jin and Jam #1, Blister) and Calvin Wong (Ramble On #1, Hattie et Millie) and have a fun-filled conversation about cheese-filled hot dogs, Calvin's hair, noise art, and of course COMICS! And no episode would be complete without our new comics correspondent, Josh Frankel who might or might include a new Euro comic among his latest finds at Comic Relief. Join the party!
Welcome Back, friends!
